ALL AMERICAN SEASON 7 EPISODE 12 RECAP

Liv returns, Jordan tries to forgive, and Khalil looks for revenge for Jordan. Here’s our All American Season 7 Episode 12 recap.

All American is back again with another long-awaited moment as Liv and her baby bump made an appearance on tonight’s episode.

This episode has Jordan front and center as he learns to forgive Cassius and the Jeremy clan with Liv playing peacemaker. Khalil is also front and center as he feels responsible for what happened to Jordan. The last few episodes have been some of the best episodes of the season so far, and tonight’s episode continued that trend.

Now, let’s a look at what happened on All American Season 7 Episode 12.

KJ’s relationship troubles

Yasi, Khalil, and Jordan are all out for South Crenshaw, especially after Jordan was attacked in his office. Meanwhile, Khalil is staying out of the way, crashing at Coop’s house.

At Beverly, KJ and Cassius are working out together, but KJ isn’t really talking to him. KJ wants to know if his dad reached out to Jordan, but Cassius says it’s complicated. There’s a smear campaign going on at the school against KJ and a disgruntled Tori might be behind it. Tori is still angry with KJ, until she learns why he stood her up. He fills her in on everything. She invites him to hang out with her at Layla’s later to check out her favorite artist.

Khalil’s revenge

With Jordan back at home after his time in the hospital, Coop encourages Khalil to go back home to the Bakers’ house and to stop feeling bad for what happened to Jordan. But for him, the Bakers house isn’t home. When Khalil leaves his backpack at Coop’s house, she goes to drop it off at Crenshaw and discovers he hasn’t been at school all week. When she opens his bag, she finds something unexpected.

When Khalil arrives at home, Coop calls him out on having a gun in backpack and not going to school. She tries to talk him out of whatever he’s planning, but he doesn’t want to talk about it. Coop follows him and finds him plotting to shoot the guys who hurt Jordan.

Jordan learns to forgive

Alone in the kitchen, Liv, baby bump and all, asks Layla if she knew that Cassius was her and Jordan’s cousin. Layla is hurt that Cassius didn’t say anything after they were becoming friends.

Layla shows up at the hotel to confront Cassius about not mentioning he was Jordan’s cousin. When she gets back home, she tells Liv that Cassius showed up in L.A. to try and destroy the Baker family. Jordan overhears the news, and now both he and Liv want answers. Liv and Layla are having empathy, but Jordan isn’t having it. He plans on getting even on the field and blocking Beverly from the state championship. Jordan wants to know what happened to the Liv who used to be so protective of her family. She lets him know that she grew up.

Liv, Cassius, and KJ meet up at The Hangout. Cassius apologizes for everything. Cassius learns that Grandma Mary didn’t know that his dad’s adoption didn’t go through. and that if she knew she would’ve gone after him. Liv plays peacemaker and invites them over for a surprise dinner. Well, a surprise to Jordan. At first Jordan doesn’t like the idea, but he comes around and says he will try. Later, when Jordan finally comes downstairs, he gives the guests the silent treatment. Cassius wants to apologize to Jordan, but Jordan accuses him of being a liar and won’t embrace him as family. Cassius and KJ decide to leave and head to Layla’s for his date with Tori. When KJ goes outside to take a breather, Tori sits with Cassius at the bar and tries to play peacemaker between KJ and Cassius. When the performer, Michelle Rivers, cancels and Cassius suggests that Tori perform. Is she going to get signed to Layla’s record label?

Later, Coop comes over to the Baker house upset that she can’t find Khalil. Luckily, Layla has a location tracker on his phone.

Now that they’re alone, Liv wants to know what happened to Jordan downstairs. She ends up apologizing for pushing it on him. But she also wants to know if he’s pushing Khalil away too. Jordan feels he made both his Khalil’s lives worse by moving him into their house.

Coach Bobby shows up at the Baker house after being called by Liv. He’s surprised Jordan has given up and not reached out to Khalil. Jordan isn’t sure he knows what Khalil needs. Coach Bobby lets him know Khalil needs his coach.

Later, Cassius and KJ return to the Baker house for KJ’s sake. KJ shouldn’t have to suffer for his mistake. Jordan invites KJ to stay for dinner.

Layla finds Khalil in the fitness centre at school. Layla doesn’t want him to leave. He doesn’t know if Jordan can ever forgive him. Later, at home, Jordan apologizes to Khalil for not reaching out sooner and reitirates that the Baker house is his home. Jordan also decides to drop the charges against Khalil’s dad for Khalil’s sake.

Next episode is the season finale where everything comes to a head, and we can’t wait!
