Unfortunately, Mike Colter, the star of Marvel’s Luke Cage, was unable to attend do to a scheduling conflict.

And then there was the cosplay. Italian cosplay legend Leon Chiro modelled costumes from major videogame franchises Assassin’s CreedFinal Fantasy XV, and Devil May Cry, while the annual Masquerade contest showed off the creativity and imagination of cosplayers from near and far.

There was even something for the gamers. Comiccon partner, DreamHack, the world’s largest computer festival, hosted the DreamHack Gaming Zone, featuring daily tournaments, retro gaming consoles, and a VR station in collaboration with HTC Vive.

In total there were over 75 entertainment activities for the whole family, from Q&A’s and board game tournaments, to film screenings, autograph sessions and photo ops.
