TYLER PERRY’S SISTAS SEASON 6 EPISODE 10 REVIEW

Tyler Perry's Sistas Season 6 Episode 10

Old romances are rekindled while others are on the rocks. Here’s our review of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 6 Episode 10.

This week’s episode of Tyler Perry’s Sistas is a feel good, satisfying one as former couples, which went their separate ways a long time ago, have found their way back to each other after much tension and and drawn out story lines.

The episode opens with Maurice admitting to the police that he and Que were behind the bank robbery and that Sabrina is innocent. At the same time, Calvin pays Sabrina an unexpected visit as she can use some company. After being in the friend zone since almost season one, they share an amazing, heartfelt moment as Calvin gives her the love and reassurance she needs. After spending the night talking, it looks like Bayo is in the rearview mirror.

Meanwhile, Aaron calls Pam to get Karen’s clients to help her get back on her feet. Karen calls Pam and learns the clients are at the salon helping to get things back in order under the supervision of Aaron. Zac lets Fatima know he will help Karen financially, although Fatima isn’t feeling it.

Preston and Danni are back at home after their night out and things are getting a little hot. Things get even more interesting when Preston, the do-good country boy, decides to get a little lit.

While things are looking up in the relationship department for many characters, Gary comes over to Hayden’s house for a run and learns that Tamara left. Gary in turn tells Hayden about the lowdown with Andi who barges i the to talk to Fatima about the blow up at Karen’s house. Realizing she was wrong, Fatima agrees she shouldn’t have gone to talk to Karen after all.

As I said, this was a very satisfying episode, as Danni and Sabrina have appeared to turn over a new leaf when it comes to receiving love from the men in their lives. With both characters having been through the ringer while other characters were happy, it’s rewarding to see them having a turn at happiness.

They also appear to be preparing Maurice to take the fall for something he didn’t do, making him a likeable character again after becoming one of the least liked characters on the show. While his decision to turn himself in may be admirable to the viewer, the sudden change from being afraid of being sent to jail for 15 years just last episode to now being willing to do time in order to protect Sabrina seems a bit rushed.

Overall, this is a good old drama free episode with functional relationships and all, which has some fans calling the episode boring, but Perry should be commended for dialing back the drama and given the “extraness” a break for at least one week.

Tyler Perry’s Sistas airs every Wednesday at 9pm on BET
