Sabrina is given an offer she might not be able to refuse. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 6 Episode 13.
The episode begins with Bayo (Ellis E. Fowler) demanding that Sabrina (Novi Brown) marry him as a condition for the bail money. If not, she would be sent her back to jail.
The girls show up at Karen’s (Ebony Obsidian) house for a another sisterly intervention after Karen’s visit to the law office. Karen is still confused (and seemingly delusional) about Zac’s (Devale Ellis) love for her. With everyone beating around the bush, Danni (Mignon Von) comes with the truth.
After Karen appears to be in her right mind, the ladies get caught up on the latest in either other’s lives. Danni lets the girls know her and Preston are official, meanwhile, Andi (KJ Smith) asks Karen for an apology for how she treated her.
After learning from Andi that Aaron (Kevin A. Walton) knows he’s the father of her baby, Karen calls him over. She ends whatever you call their relationship before sharing the paternity results with him.
After leaving Karen’s house, Andi goes on a date through a dating app with Sabrina and Danni tagging along. After they run into Danni’s new coworker Tony and his boy Rich, they end up getting a table. (Don’t do it, Danni)
Que (Mackenro Alexander) is then brought in for questioning as his lies appear to be finally catching up with him, The DA threatens to rescind his offer now that he knows Sabrina and Maurice (Brian Jordan Jr.) weren’t involved with the bank robbery.
The episode ends with Zatima heading over to Heather’s house to see Zac’s son. When Zac and Fatima pull up to the house they hear screams inside as they rush to his son’s aid.
This episode was a fairly tame and drama free episode compared to others we’ve seen before. It provides a bit of clarity on long time storylines like the paternity of Karen’s baby, but we can be sure it’s far from over.
Overall, the writing on this episode was on point as we could see the overlapping layers in the storyline, from Bayo’s somewhat proposal to the DA believing in Sabrina and Maurice’s innocence. It also raises new concerns about Sabrina and Danni’s relationships with Calvin (Anthony Dalton) and Preston (Trinity Whiteside). We’ll have to wait to find out.
