Love is in the air for Andi, Danni and Sabrina, and Zac rescues his son. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 6 Episode 14.
The episode opens with Zatima paying Zac‘s son a visit. When his son appears to be in distress, a fight breaks out. That’s until Fatima gets all gangster as we learn even more about her sketchy past. On their way home, Fatima, Zac and his son bump into Karen at the grocery store. The sight of the happy family is guaranteed to set up another war between Karen and Zatima in the toilet paper aisle.
This isn’t Karen‘s only issue. Earlier in the episode, Pam calls Karen to check up on her (and to get her money). She’s struggling to make ends meet after the salon went up in flames.
Andi is still on her date with her new love interest who has an ability to make her blush, and things appear to be going well. They even decide to play a trick on their friends. As they leave the restaurant, the men invite the girls to take a group trip home on the bus, and even make plans for the next night. (Preston, come get your girl). Unfortunately, boojie Andi isn’t feeling the bus, partly because it reminds her of her childhood. They buy the girls roses and reminisce about the lessons they learned from their coach about being men. With all the drama surrounding some of the existing male cast members, these new men add some stability and maturity to the show.
Most of the episode follows the six of them on their sort of triple date. While Andi and Sabrina are open to seeing them again. Danni appears conflicted after reuniting with Preston.
Lastly, Gary pays Hayden a visit at home. Hayden is still trying to find Tamara, but Gary is having his own troubles in the love department after he learns about Andi going on a date through the dating app.
Overall, this episode is different than what we’re used to. Despite the opening seen with Zac coming to his son’s rescue, it’s a fairly drama free episode. We’ve been introduced to new male characters who bring a completely different dynamic to the show. While many of us are Team Preston, it’s nice to see Danni go from being on a destructive path and allowing herself to be used by men to now being appreciated. These may very well end up being the most healthy relationships we’ve ever seen on the show yet.
We have to tune in next week to see.
