TYLER PERRY’S SISTAS SEASON 6 EPISODE 8 REVIEW

Credit: BET/Paramount

Things come to a head between Zac and Fatima as Karen offers him a proposition. Here’s our review of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 6 Episode 8.

**SPOILER ALERT**

As the episode, Crystal Renee Hayslett continues to serve up some great acting, doing an excellent job of conveying pain and anguish. Despite Andi trying to talk her off the ledge, a still distraught and sick and tired Fatima decides to return Zac’s engagement ring and her mind is made up (so she says).

As Fatima leaves, Gary enters to talk to Andi about what she said the other night. Expecting Andi to double back on what she said, Gary is shocked when she doubles down on her “truth”. In return, he gets petty (and even) with his own truth. The exchange leaves them turned on as they make a date to do the dirty again.

Gary heads over to Hayden’s office in time to see Tamara leave after their “extra-curriculars”. He lets her know that Tamara’s past is clean.

Zac and Karen take a walk down memory lane, having breakfast at one of their old spots. Despite their smiling and laughing, and Karen throwing herself at him, Zac reminds Karen that he’s with Fatima now. When Zac arrives at home, Fatima lets him know how he made her feel when he ran after Karen. After an honest conversation, they decide to work it out and extend each other a little grace.

Meanwhile, Danni comes home to find a shirtless Preston still at her place to make sure she’s safe. She finally agrees to give them a “try”. Finally. Despite the drawn out reconciliation, her change of heart seemed rather sudden, coming out of nowhere, which hurt the story and their long-awaited reunion.

Then Sabrina lets Maurice and Calvin know she tried to reason with Que to no avail. Maurice continues to plot against his life after both he and Sabrina tried reasoning with Que.

While Maurice is gone, Andi calls Sabrina and the girls to go over to Karen’s place. Meanwhile, Maurice heads back to the airport to confront Que.

The episode ends at Karen’s house, where the girls are worried about her. She admits to wanting to sleep with Zac when Fatima walks in, setting up World War III for the next episode.

Overall, it was a decent episode with moments of great acting, although aspects of the story appeared to be rushed, especially Danni and Preston’s reconciliation. But still, the episode does a good job of setting up the biggest battle between Fatima and Danni yet.
