Fatima pays Karen a visit as things get quite intense. Here’s our review of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 6 Episode 9.
After Karen leaves the front door open (for Zac), Fatima interrupts the girls’ get together at Karen’s house. World War III erupts as Fatima reminds Karen that Zac doesn’t want her. Things get even more complicated when Aaron walks in.
After the girls leave, the drama continues outside as Zac and Aaron, who smells of alcohol, chirp at each other. When Sabrina returns upstairs, Karen is waiting for Fatima to return. When Zac returns home, he tries to get Fatima to know she was wrong after saying, “Sometimes you gotta let a bitch know where you stand.”
Later, Sabrina then speaks to Andi about the blow up at Karen’s house. When Gary arrives and tries to comfort her, she tries to skip the pleasantries and go straight to the bedroom. Unfortunately, Gary isn’t having it.
Meanwhile, Maurice is still not handling the situation with Que very well. Not only is he still angry about Que stealing from him, but he’s upset that he’s hurting Sabrina.
Hayden confides in Gary that he filed the annulment papers, but he doesn’t want to lose Tamara. Sadly, he may lose her after all.
To close out the episode, Maurice goes to see the prosecutor and tries to make a deal he can’t refuse.
Overall, this is a very entertaining episode, especially because of the opening drama. While some may say it dragged on a bit too long, this is one of best scenes of the season so far because of the entertainment value and tension that has built up between Fatima and Karen going back to last season.
The episode is also on point because of Devale Ellis (Zac) who brings the humour this episode as the surprising voice of reason between he and Fatima, as did Mignon (Danni) who has taken over for Maurice as the main comedic talent on the show.
Lastly, what makes this episode appealing is the changing relationship dynamics where some once broken relationships are being restores while others are on the rocks again.
