Sabrina thinks about her future and Maurice gets a new job. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 2.

With the season seven premiere in the rearview mirror, we take a look at episode two.

With the time jump three months into future and a new writing team, Sistas almost feels like a completely different show. It could just be me, but it also seems more sexual, especially during this episode where the woman are the horny ones, being direct about what they want.

The new writing style and feel of the show is going to take some getting used to, but one thing we know is this season is going to be an adventure.

Here’s our recap of this week’s episode of Tyler Perry’s Sistas.

Gary is disgusting

The episode opens with Penelope finding Gary masturbating to Andi’s panties in her bathroom. Just when you think he couldn’t get more disgusting. In the elevator, Gary gets super foul, telling Penelope to “Shut the f*&% up” and blaming her and her headaches for feeling deprived.

Gary leaves Penelope at home alone and stays at Hayden’s house as repayment for his private investigator finding the truth about Tamara. Gary admits he’ll never marry Penelope and that he only put a ring on her to buy himself some time.

Later, Hayden runs into Andi at the office and confides that Gary slept at his house. We learn Hayden and Gary aren’t as close as we thought with Hayden and Andi wonder what he does outside of work to earn money. He also shares that Gary called Penelope a “fat insecure bitch” why tells Andi he hasn’t changed at all. What’s even more alarming is that the writers are about to make us like Hayden. Damn.

Finally, Gary learns that his investors are pulling their money after they saw something fishy going on with the SEC. On top of that, the FBI showed up at Hayden’s house looking for him. We finally learn how Gary has been making his money all along.

Sabrina goes on a few house calls

Sabrina visits Danni and suggests that her dreams might be about Preston. In turn, Danni starts to vent about him leaving after saying he loved her.

Sabrina then goes to visit Maurice and finds him camming to pay the bills. She’s disgusted with his new job, but still decides to borrow his handcuffs.

Zac’s baby fever, Zac Jr.

Over breakfast, Zac shares that he wants to start a trust for Michael and his child with Karen, aka Zac Jr. Fatima is on board with Zac starting a trust for Michael, but isn’t sure about his unborn child. Later, Zatima meet with Andi at the law office before their hearing with the arbitrator.

Later, when Fatima arrives at home she’s a little quiet. She asks Zac to ask Karen to get a DNA test so they can know for sure if the baby is his. They get into an argument with Fatima saying, “You’re stupid if you think that baby is yours.”

Karen asks for help

At the salon, Pam is getting on Karen’s nerves ordering product to the salon. With the business loan almost gone, Karen asks Sabrina if she can help her get a personal loan from the bank. Mid-conversation, Sabrina wonders if Karen has ever thought about the future and having a family. It seems Sabrina is thinking about settling down.

Tony and Danni get freaky

Tony and Danni get a little freaky behind the kiosk. Tony wanted a “little taste” and tries to move things to his office.

Brunch with the girls

At brunch, Andi tells the girls, including Fatima, about her sex life with Jordan. Karen walks in undetected but turns around and leaves when she sees Fatima is in the mix. Sabrina also tells the girls about Danni’s dreams. She has an aversion to therapy but Fatima sells her on talking to her therapist, Cretia. Sabrina continues the conversation about children and settling down.

When Danni arrives at home from brunch, she let’s Tony know that she’ll be going to therapy before they go for another round in the sheets.

Meanwhile, a drunk Sabrina is trying to get frisky with Rich, but him not wanting to get married and have kids threatens to kill the mood.
