Gary makes a big announcement and gets freakier than ever. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 20.

Tonight’s episode of Tyler Perry’s Sistas has a whole lot of drama as we get a rare scene with almost the whole cast as Gary announces his engagement to Andi. This episode also sees him descend to even lower levels of nastiness.

The nastiness continues as Ms. Marie paus Hayden a visit in his office. I don’t know what’s going on with the writers this season, but they seem to be bent on seeing how far they can go with the freakiness.

So without further adieu, let’s take a closer look. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 20.

Gary and Andi announcement

The episode opens with Gary introducing everyone to his fiancêe, Andrea Barnes, and inviting everyone to their wedding, except for the “hoodrat duo”, Zac and Fatima.

Things almost get physical when Rich and Zac are tempted to put hands on him, and when Gary congratulates Karen and her two baby daddies, aka “menzes”, on their pregnancy.

Finally, Gary leaves after wishing everyone a terrible night. With Gary gone, Andi doubles down and asks everyone to be happy for her. When Sabrina asks whether she was cheating on Jordan this whole time with Gary, she lies and says yes. The whole thing leaves everyone trying to wrap their heads around what just happened.

After everyone leaves, a very maternal and ride-or-die Fatima sticks around to learn the truth. Andi tells her everything. The fact she can tell Fatima things she can’t tell anyone else says a lot about their friendship.

Despite the hoopla, this scene was well done. It’s rare that we see the whole Sistas cast (minus Pam, Jordan and Tony) in the same scene. We also get to see Zac and Rich become friends.

Later, Gary and Andi, full of fake smiles, meet with their wedding planner. Before he leaves, he tells Andi to drop her panties. She says she’s on her period, but he wants them anyway so he can smell her throughout the day. Dude is beyond nasty.

At the law office, Penelope calls Andi to ask why she broke up with Jordan who is not taking the news well. Andi ends the call when Fatima walks in to see how she’s doing. Ever the gangster, Fatima suggests getting rid of Gary permanently.

Later, Jordan barges into the law office to question her about Gary.

Ms. Marie caught red handed

Ms. Marie comes in to see Hayden to ask him to go away with her for the weekend. When she goes around the desk to take matters into her own hands, Tamara comes in unexpectedly and finds them in a compromising position. Tamara puts two and two together and solves the mystery of the “grey pube” from last episode. Ms. Marie, in turn, gets disrespectful asking her how it tasted. Tamara then threatens to drag her despite her being a senior citizen. Soon Hayden has two women fighting over him. Who would’ve thought that would ever happen?

Rich, the bearer of bad news

While practicing for a debate, Jordan’s mind is elsewhere. Rich stops by and gives Jordan the lowdown on Andi and Gary’s engagement. Jordan wants to go over to Andi’s place, but Rich encourages him to leave it alone since he has a lot riding on his campaign.

Rich then goes to Sabrina’s house where they talk about the Andi and Gary news, and her sperm donor update. She reveals that Damani is her donor, but Rich questions whether she knows enough about him. He also wants to know whether he’ll want to be in the baby’s life. Sabrina doesn’t see the issue, but Rich does, leading to some awkwardness.

Later, at the bank, Maurice and Sabrina are still talking about the drama from earlier. Soon, Damani calls to let Sabrina know he’s done all of his tests at the doctor and should have the results soon. Sabrina is emotional and grateful as she’s one step closer to becoming a mother.

Zac and Michael bond

When Zac arrives at home, Miss Rose, the nanny, is keeping Michael company. Zac tells Michael he’s going to be a big brother and tells him that he had a big brother once. The bond between Zac and Michael as father and son is beautiful.

Danni jealous?

After work, Tony arrives at Danni’s place after being updated by Rich about the Gary situation. While he’s in the shower, Tiffany texts Tony with a picture of her in a bra, reminding him of an anniversary gift he got her. Tony is tired of Danni being jealous, while she’s upset he isn’t checking his ex. Not wanting to deal with this, he decides to leave naked after Danni asks for her towel.

Later, at the juice bar, Tony fills Rich in on the drama with Danni and Tiffany. Meanwhile, Rich fills Tony in on Sabrina’s fertility drama with Damani. Tony questions why a young and successful man like him wouldn’t want to have a baby with a beautiful and successful woman like Sabrina. In the end, Rich admits Sabrina is the one.

Karen and Pam clash

At the salon, Karen calls Pam into her office after looking at final notices for her credit cards that Pam maxed out to start her business. Pam offers to loan Karen some money, but Karen says she would keep to pay back the debt. In the end, an unapologetic Pam offers to pay Karen back in eight months before walking out.
