Zac learns some exciting news and Gary plots against Andi again. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 9.
The Karen-Zac-Fatima storytelling is progressing (and angering the Sistas fanbase in the process) and more and more of Gary’s past is being revealed. The good news is that he’s finally met his match.
Here are the highlights from Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 9.
Karen’s news
The episode opens with Karen letting Zac know she’s having twins and the man is excited (or “doing too much” as Karen says). But Fatima is caught off guard (and speechless).
Karen calls the girls to come over so she can give them the news.
Later, at home, Zac is in baby mode after learning about the twins, but Fatima has had enough with one child becoming two. She storms out, but he doesn’t seem to know why she’s upset.
Andi’s plan
Andi is at the office when Karen calls to ask her to come to her house. Things get heavy when Penelope stops by the office. Andi warns her to get away from Gary. She tells her about the information her source found about him, including his high school prom date going missing after prom. The investigator felt Gary was involved but they didn’t have enough evidence to convict him. Apparently there’s more, but Andi has a plan. She has a friend who will take her somewhere safe.
Gary’s plot against Andi
Speaking of Gary, he meets with Ms. Marie Willis at his “repulsive den of treachery” (aka his office). He accuses Andi of trying to seduce him and being shady, but she isn’t falling for it. She knows it was him who bought Andi the apartment and Rolls Royce and who instigated the scandal against Jordan. She see’s him as a “bitter, rejected man”. It’s nice to see someone son Gary and put him in his place for a change. Ms. Marie Willis is more than a match for Gary.
“You are a small narcissistic fish in a big overachieving pond. My suggestion is that you swim along before you get yourself hurt…”
When his hacker dude returns to the office, he lets Gary in on all the charges the FBI is looking at. As they’re talking, a news report comes on the TV about Jordan’s accuser admitting she lied. Gary doesn’t take it well. With the women in his life causing his=m problems, Gary suggests they need to take “her” out. Who is “her”? We don’t know, but we’ll find out soon.
Karen’s big announcement
Pam is still storing her products in the supply room at Karen’s salon and it’s driving her crazy. Is there a work break up on the horizon?
When Miss Lisa comes into the salon, Karen lets her know she’s expecting twins. But the big question again is if Zac is the father.
When the girls arrive at Karen’s apartment, she lets them know she’s expecting twins. Of course, everyone is excited except Danni who said the announcement “coulda been a text”. All she wants to know is if Zac is the father.
Sabrina and Danni have to dip because of their double date with Rich and Tony.
Sabrina and Danni’s date
Fatima ends up at the restaurant where she bumps into Danni who fills her in on her issues with Tony’s kids. In turn, Fatima lets Danni know her issues with Zac not taking her feelings into consideration.
When Sabrina arrives, she introduces Fatima to Tony and Rich. Sabrina and Tony talk about his kids and bond over parenting while Rich and Danni look uncomfortable. It’s starting to look like Rich and Danni, and Sabrina and Tony, would be better matches.
After leaving the restaurant, Tony and Danni could barely get into her apartment before they start taking their clothes off.
Zac’s apology
When Fatima returns home, she lets Zac know why she stormed out. He agrees he should’ve been more considerate of her feelings and that he just got excited.
Maurice’s dilemma
Over dinner, Grayson asks Maurice if he plans on keeping his “page” going. He admits he wasn’t thinking long-term and was waiting for Sabrina to get a branch manager job at the bank. With sixth month’s pay in savings, it looks like Maurice is walking away from his page to focus on his new relationship.
