Robin returns and Andi finally comes clean with her sisters. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 8 Episode 3.
The “Who stabbed Gary?” story is heating up with everyone being a suspect. Again, there’s still no sign of Maurice, which is a good thing. He adds very little value to the show. Maybe he stabbed Gary (no, I’m not serious).
So without delay, let’s get into what went down on Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 8 Episode 3.
Robin has left the building
The sistas come over to Andi’s apartment to find Robin, aka “the Ghost of Negroes Past” according to Danni, and he’s a bit touchy-feely with Andi. After Robin leaves, Andi finally confides that she was only marrying Gary because she was being blackmailed, and that he threatened to ruin Jordan’s career. She also confides that Robin is now representing her and that he doesn’t want her to see Jordan .Danni doesn’t trust him since “lightskins are notorious for being vindictive”.
After a nice girlfriend moment where they take a trip down memory lane, Karen alludes to Andi potentially trying to kill Gary. Dun. Dun. Dun. The suspense. Andi can’t believe her girl thinks she would stab Gary, especially being an attorney. She also reminds them that she isn’t the only person in the room who had a motive to stab Gary. The girls are looking at Danni, but she insists she didn’t stab Gary either. Danni thinks Sabrina could’ve done it as a former convict.
In the end, Andi feels weird because she can’t imagine a world without Gary in it. She’s trying to pinpoint the point where Gary went from Mr. Perfect to what he is now.
With everything that been going on in their lives, Karen says the girls to check in more often. It’s always nice when we get all the girls in one scene.
The boss is back
When Fatima arrives at the office, Hayden threatens to get her in trouble for tardiness and insubordination. Robin arrives to let them know that he is there to help keep the ship running until a new partner is chosen. When Fatima lets him know that she is pursuing her law degree, Robin wants her to consider being a lawyer at the law firm. Hayden tries to kiss his ass, but Robin asks to see him in Andi’s office. He ends up asking him to cover Andi’s case load and is impressed with his cases. He is also assigning Fatima to help him with the cases and brings up his and Gary’s attempt to take the firm from him. In the end, he’s just keeping his enemies close.
When Hayden and Fatima meet again, he informs her that Robin gave him Andi’s course load and that Fatima now works for him. When Fatima tries to run errands, Robin lays down the law. She now has to run her errands on her personal time and focus on her job. Soon Zac calls and she gives him the rundown on Hayden.
When Fatima finally get ahold of Andi, she tries to warn her about Robin, but Andi is in a rush and blinded by Robin’s help. As soon as she hangs up, Robin returns and wants to know what the phone call was about. Yes, he’s he boss, but he’s overstepping. The man went from knight in shining armor to abuser in one episode.
Gary has a visitor
While Gary is in bed, he has a masked mystery visitor who injects something into his IV, perhaps to finish the job. When Andi arrives at the hospital, Hudson bumps into her and accuses her of trying to kill Gary.
