Fatima is in the hot seat with Robin and the girls reunite once again. Here’s our Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 8 Episode 7 recap.
Fatima is in the hot seat
Fatima has some explaining to do after Robin presents pictures of her, Gary, and his bodyguard having a run-in the same day he was stabbed. He believes Fatima went over there to either confront Gary about blackmailing Andi or about Zac’s investment. In other words, she has two motives. He also has her gun thanks to his private investigator. If Robin hands the evidence over to the authorities, it would get Andi lower on the list of suspects. In return for not handing the evidence over to investigators, he asks her to play ball with Hayden. This version of Robin is lethal. He also needs to remember he has as much motive as everyone else.
At home, Zac tells Fatima that Michael said his first words. Somehow the conversation ends up on Karen and her having two kids from two different baby daddies. Fatima suggests Zac and Aaron wear “Who’s Your Daddy” t-shirts. Foul. She also jokes about Karen having triplets.
When Zac asks what she’s doing home so early, she says that Robin gave her the rest of the day off, but doesn’t share what went down at the office. Instead they go upstairs for some signature Zatima sexy time.
Agent Watt is out of order
At the hospital, we learn that Gary was given a seizure inducing drug, aka street grade heroine. Hudson is hurling threats at the doctor.
Meanwhile, Agent Watt stops into Andi’s place to pay her a visit and to let her know that there was another attempt on Gary’s life. Andi is relieved when she finds out he isn’t dead. He lets her know that heroin was found in his system, just after her visit. He tries to forcefully drag her to the station when Robin walks in, just in time. When Agent Watt leaves, Andi falls into Robin’s arms and they almost share a kiss. Andi is the damsel in distress once again. What happened to strong and tough Andi that once had to talk sense into Penelope?
Andi has self-control and stops her Robin from kidding. Robin is regretful about being inappropriate, but Andi says they are more than just lawyer and client before reminding both of them that they’re friends.
After the near kiss, Andi texts the girls to get together urgently at her place. Another scene with all the sistas incoming.
Sabrina and Danni back on track
At the restaurant, Sabrina and Rich patch things up, but she wants to know why he started the fight. He lets her know that he’s nervous about the fertility appointment. She offers to go to the appointment with him.
Meanwhile, Tony accuses Danni of walking out of the restaurant like a bratty child, but she’s still hung up on the leadership program and wanting her autonomy. She’s had a lifetime of men wanting to change her. Things are starting to get a little sexy, but the other airport staff are picking up on what’s going on at her kiosk.
Sabrina calls Danni to make sure she’s coming to Andi’s place, but things go left when Rich calls to say he can’t do “it”. The problem isn’t the sperm donation, it’s the 90’s “visual aids”. Sabrina calls him to talk dirty to him and help him fantasize. It ends up being a messy situation with Rich “painting the walls”. Sistas is becoming soft porn right before our better eyes.
Miss Lisa to the rescue
Miss Lisa walks into the salon as Miss Marie is walking about. Pam and Karen explain what went down with bald edges girl. Karen tells her mom that she’s been questioned into Gary’s stabbing. Miss Lisa always knows how to comfort her. She always knows the right thing to say. It’s a good scene where Karen talks about the double standard of it being okay for a white woman to be in her situation, but as a Black woman, she’s labeled promiscuous or a ho for having two baby daddies. I could see how this scene would be a good message for women who are in a similar situation.
The Sistas reunite
At Andy’s place, Andi tells the girls that Fatima is coming over (although she ends up not making it after her and Zac’s bath time). Karen isn’t upset since her and Fatima are in a better place. She also fills the girls in on the latest at the salon and Roots To Riches. Meanwhile, Andi tells the girls that Robin almost kissed her. Karen asks her if she wanted Robin to kiss her, but they’re interrupted by a phone call. The girls leave her alone and Andi takes the call. It’s none other than Gary, the cockroach, back again.
My bold prediction is that Andi will end up being in love with three men and will have to decide who she’ll choose. We’ll see how this plays out.

Sex aside, I miss the actual chemistry between Zac & Fatima. It’s been one thing after another, & so much drama (unnecessary drama), I feel like we haven’t seen the relationship between them lately. Nor have we seen them, w/ Michael, interacting as a family. #SistasOnBET pic.twitter.com/7ii8ZlBS3t

And I’m tired of the “damsel in distress” thing they’re doing with Andi. I want to see her stand up for herself, like the badass attorney she supposedly is. #SistasOnBET pic.twitter.com/v0V0r82C0Y
