This morning, WWE made it official. Jade Cargill has joined WWE after signing a multi-year deal with the sports entertainment powerhouse. She becomes the second major AEW star to join WWE.
This morning, WWE ended the speculation by announcing that Jade Cargill has signed a multi-year deal with the industry-leading promotion. She brings an impressive track record of dominance, including a 60-match win streak, and magnetic in-ring presence to WWE.
The exact terms of the multi-year deal are unknown, but Cargill will report to the WWE Performance Center today.
AEW founder, Tony Khan, had praise for Cargill in a recent interview when asked about her potential departure.
“Jade’s been a great wrestler for AEW and certainly is always welcome in AEW. You know, could always be somebody we would always love to work with here in AEW.”

Cargill was AEW’s first and longest-reigning TBS champion, holding the title for 508 days before losing to Kris Statlander. Although she has only been wrestling professionally for two years, she’s had that look and star power that made a move to WWE inevitable. Prior to becoming a pro wrestler, she played Division I basketball at Jacksonville University, being named Atlantic Sun Preseason First Team in her senior year.
She enters a stacked women’s division, leaving room for a number of fantasy matches against other towering strong women like Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair.
Cargill becomes the second major AEW star to sign with WWE after Cody Rhodes rejoined the company at Wrestlemania 38 in April 2022.
