The Sistas get ready for their date and Danni has some explaining to do. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 6 Episode 17.
Danni has some explaining to do
Preston shows up to surprise Danni by putting something in her car only find her talking to Tony. He quickly figures out he was the person she was with the night before. Don’t look now, but Danni is about to fumble things with Preston.
Office drama
At the office, Andi and Sabrina are talking about their upcoming date with the guys, although Jordan hasn’t called her yet. When the ladies talk about how amazing they are, Maurice clears his throat. When they look at him, he says, “I was just stretching my throat” to which Andi responds, “What does that even mean?” It was one of the better comedic moments in the past few weeks.
Meanwhile, Zatima are talking to their lawyer who is trying to get them an emergency hearing so they can get custody of Zac’s son, but he advises Zac to not take matters into his own hands.
As they’re leaving the appointment, Hayden pulls up to introduce Zatima to his wife, Tamara. Zac starts having a little fun at his expense.
When Jordan finally calls, Andi tries to punish him and give him the run around by saying she has other plans until Fatima “frees up her schedule”. After her call with Jordan, Andi asks how Fatima is handling the drama around Karen and her baby. Ever the ride or die chick, Fatima doubles down on her love Zac and says she’s willing to go through it with Zac.
Bayo is wilin’
On her way home, Sabrina fills in Danni on the charges being dropped and potentially getting her job back, but Danni is distracted after the incident with Preston. When she gets off the phone, Tony questions her taste with “melanin deficient” Preston. Tony is clearly up to his nosy ways.
After she gets him, Bayo comes over to see Sabrina. She asks him if he got his money back. He’s confused so Sabrina tells him that the DA dropped the charges against her and Maurice. Hee wants to go celebrate but she isn’t feeling it after the way he treated Maurice. He calls her a bitch on his way out when Danni walks in and checks him.
Karen and Zac share a moment
Karen pulls up to Zac’s house after being an asshole the day before. They share a moment of friendship but it’s clear there’s still some kind of love between them. We actually went a whole episode without Karen being crazy and carrying on.
The date
Andi comes over to Sabrina’s ahead of their group date and Danni is on 10 and gassing the girl’s up. Once they arrive at Jordan’s house, it turns out he has good taste (and money). Plot twist, when they get to the backyard, the man behind the bar is none other than Gary. The guy is like coach roach; can’t get rid of him.
Another fairly low drama episode from Mr. Tyler Perry with good writing. But by the looks of it, we’ll be back with some big drama next week,
