cranium festival lineup and ticket

The Cranium Festival have announced their lineup including A$ASP Twelvyy, TwoTiime, Duvy and more. Here’s Cranium Festival lineup and ticket info.

The Cranium Arts Project has been busy in recent weeks teasing the lineup for its namesake annual festival. Set to go down from September 29 to October 1, the hip-hop and R&B music festival is Cranium’s marquee event and will showcase the rich and diverse talent of established and emerging artists from the Canadian music scene.

On Day One, Halifax’s Reeny Smith and Ottawa’s Dominique Gorley and Badda will perform. Day Two will see Ottawa’s TwoTiime, FTG Reggie, KG Jay, Florida’s Raxx, and Montreal rapper SLM, fresh off her Rolling Loud Toronto performance. Then Day 3 is the big day featuring A$AP Twelvyy, Jay Worthy, Duvy, Maurice Moore, Kofi, Jahkoy, J-Soul, EverythingOShauN, Pretti Bulli, and Taapz. In total, 15 artists and DJ’s will perform at Cranium over three days.

The festival will be held at the MAC Hall, and the Bronson Centre. In addition to the live performances, the venue will feature a sponsored Bar Code VIP lounge, local food vendors, and more.

This is the fourth annual Cranium Festival and which has  grown in size and scope with each year.

“In 2022, we are committed to our largest marketing and logistics effort in order to continue our progress, to provide a bigger platform for emerging artists in the Ottawa and region and beyond, and to inspire today’s youth with a memorable display of Black culture and excellence”, they noted in their official statement.

But despite the growing reach of the festival and the artists gracing the stage, the festival is still about helping Ottawa area artists to develop in their draft.

“Cranium was initiated as a response to a need in the local ecosystem,” says co-founder Patrick McCormack. “Thousands of artists in the National Capital Region create music that was not being adequately represented by presenters or professional development organizations. Cranium was created by people with decades of experience creating hip-hop, R&B and other intersecting genres, in order to cultivate professional development and performance opportunities for artists in our local scene with a priority placed on BIPOC artists.”
