You’ve asked and it’s finally here. This weekend marks Ottawa native Maurice Moore’s first homecoming show of 2019. Brought to you by Smallworld Live, this intimate all-ages show will take place on Saturday, April 27 at The 27 Club in the Byward Market. Holding down emcee duties are Kevin B. and Vladimir Jean-Gilles of SHIFTER magazine.
Fresh off releasing his latest EP Destination Unknown, the Canadian singer-songwriter sensation has consistently shown that he is able to go
beyond the traditional horizon of the R&B genre. Through his down to earth persona, Moore paints the picture of an up-and-coming artist who’s positive, carefree approach to life can sometimes leave him feeling vulnerable and open, especially with romantic partners. Themes of love, sex and heartbreak are common in his work, making it easier for fans to relate to the delicate moments he experiences.
Expect April 27th to be a night of intimacy, passion and raw emotion, as Moore is known as a strong natural performer. His unique ability to tell stories through singing and rapping will allow him to guide the crowd’s energy through the highs and lows of his experiences, all night long. To add, the use of live instruments will allow him to showcase his natural talent, something that will touch each and every audience member.
Ticket sales begin on Friday, March 22, 2019 and can be purchased online or in-person through an authorized Smallworld LIVE representative. Support artists are to be announced in the coming days. Visit the Smallworld Live Facebook page for more information.
