VANCOUVER ARTIST PEAK DROPS MOODY NEW SINGLE AND MUSIC VIDEO “8PM”

Vancouver artist PEAK is back with a laid back and moody new single “8PM”. The track is a lead up to his upcoming EP.

With the rise of acts like Boslen and Manila Grey, Vancouver’s music scene has been heating up in recent years. Another name to add to the mix is PEAK, a Punjabi-Canadian artist who has been building a name for himself with his melodic blend of hip-hop and R&B.

There was his single “COLD” featuring Toronto-based Indian rapper Fateh which boasts over 64K streams on Spotify. Then this past January he returned with “RE-UP” with his signature smooth vocals and a laid back, acoustic guitar infused vibe.

Now he has returned with a new single “8PM”, featuring a moody, hypnotic groove and Peak’s soothing and equally hypnotic vocals.

The single comes with dark and cinematic visuals which interpret the mood of the song. The video opens with a shots of a wintery mountainside and PEAK overlooking the cold waterfront landscape before we’re transported to a dark underground parking lot. From both the single and visual, it’s clear that this is a polished artist who cares about the finer details of both his music and visuals.

This single is a lead up to the release of his EP set for this year.
