Rising Canadian hip-hop artists Lum and Dom Vallie have teamed up on a new melodic hip-hop ballad “4 Sho”.

Windsor rapper and singer-songwriter LUM has been making a name for himself as one of the rising artists to look out for when it comes to a refreshing sound. After being named Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Canadian artist back in July and being covered on SoundCloud’s emerging artist playlist ‘The Lookout’, LUM has managed to gain many more opportunities, like opening up for Bankrol Hayden & D. Savage, performing at Vancouver’s LUNA Fest, and gaining support from Walmart in a branded campaign for his song “Take Me Higher”.

Now, he links up with Toronto’s own Dom Vallie for his latest single, “4 Sho”. The summer-influenced beat and soothing instrumentation give it an interesting vibe as the irresistible hook takes us on a journey where LUM and Dom Vallie speak more about their amazing lifestyle and the attractive women that come their way. Produced by multi-platinum producer Eestbound and Marty Bak, the guitar strums and vibrant melodies of both artists incorporate the elements of an amazing melodic hip-hop ballad arriving just in time for cuffing season.

This collaboration came at the perfect time for LUM, who has been a longtime fan of Dom Vallie, an artist who rose to prominence following the release of his eponymous single “Vallie Mode” in 2019 and subsequent hit “Been Himma” in 2022. After meeting through Eestbound, the two instantly bonded over the amazing creations of their sound and solidified this moment to create one of the best tracks for cuffing season. The pair also trade some unique verses on the lavishing party lifestyle and the amazing moments that come with it.

“I’m not here for the moment, I want to create timeless music – I want listeners to hear a song and in 2028 whether happy or sad, still feel the emotion I’m trying to convey.” – LUM on 4 Sho’

“4 Sho” follows the release of LUM’s summer hit “Stronger” featuring Atlanta rapper KILJ, and “Made it Far”; two singles which speak to LUM’s motivations and perseverance, in his journey as a rising star.
