JON VINYL IS MOVING ON WITH NEW SINGLE “DON’T CARE”

Stuck between what he wants and what she wants, Jon Vinyl is forced to confront the status of their relationship in his latest single and music video, “Don’t Care.”

Toronto’s soulful R&B singer is known for his staccato vibratos, vulnerable lyrics and love songs. All of these attributes are proven once again, as he unlocks an emotional journey about holding on to a relationship that has already ended, in his new single “Don’t Care.” Sharing the feelings of being unheard and disconnected, throughout the single Jon Vinyl reveals that it is better for him to be selfish.

Starting the single with soft keys and warm melodies, the track quickly transitions into Hip-Hop tempo. This delicate blend of smooth R&B melodies to a head bobbing beat is Jon Vinyl signature.

In January, the 24-year-old artist surprised his fans with the “Friends With Benefits,” movie inspired music video for his single “Always.” Sharing a similar sonic approach, he blends R&B with House music. This hopeful track is a part of his of his 2021 debut EP, Lost In You. This honest project carries the listener through the instability of his last relationship – hope, remorse, love, uncertainty, and exhaust are only a few emotions the raw EP showcases.

Wearing his heart on his sleeves he caught the attention of over 3.3 million streamers including the music enthusiasts at Spotify Canada and Amazon Music, granting him billboards in downtown Toronto.

Jon Vinyl is thrilled to be releasing, “Don’t Care,” and many other songs throughout the year as this single is expected to be the first song of a new era.
