JUNO AWARD WINNER SAVANNAH RÉ CELEBRATES TIMELESS LOVE ON “24HRS”

Leaving all hesitations at the door, Savannah Ré’s latest release, “24hrs” is a transparent ask for love without limits. With those signature honey-draped vocals, Ré relives each hour of the day spent waking up, catering to, and enjoying the presence of another. It’s a butterflies-in-the-stomach type of love flamed by the everlasting feeling of gratitude. Complete with a single-textured guitar loop and jazzy percussion from YogiTheProducer (Kehlani, Jessie Reyez) and adamjosh, “24hrs” is the perfect summer melody that captures the feeling of finding a safe haven in the arms of someone special.

Fresh off a big win for Traditional/R&B/Soul Recording of the Year at the 2021 JUNO Awards for “Solid”, “24hrs” is the Scarborough-native’s first release since her debut EP Opia in 2020. Already picking up steam from heavy hitters like Timbaland and SZA for the new single, “24hrs” underscore Ré’s undeniable pen game and gift of vulnerability.

“This song kind of came about naturally being in this pandemic,” she explains. “I’ve seen so much about relationships being strained and coming to an end because really, you’re never forced to be in a house 24/7 with your spouse or significant other. However, I haven’t seen much about the positives of this. I feel like my relationship has gotten nothing but stronger, and it almost is like I wish 24 hours was longer just to have more time with my significant other. Feel good R&B is back.”
