On the heels of the release of his previous single “Did A Lot”, Ottawa rapper and singer TwoTiime is back with his latest single “Juice”. The single was released under a new deal with WorldStar Distribution making him the first Canadian artist to sign with the label. This is his second single released through Worldstar.
On the Almighty Nate, VVS Melody and Glory Gainztrack produced track, the Ottawa rapper tells us about the things he’s going through and how he copes with the pressure; something many deal with, even in his own neighbourhood.
“If you listen to the lyrics, it touches on me going through a lot of things, and doing anything I can to numb the pain,” TwoTiime explains.
“That could be drinking a juice or smoking some cali. Doing all that just to heal my pain. I know it’s not going to work, but I know it’ll help in the moment.”
The song also came with a new music video shot by MyNameFrench in Ottawa. The video shows TwoTiime and his crew on a country road contrasting with the story of coping with inner city problems.
The single is a lead up to his debut project set to be released later this year and adds to a growing list of accomplishments. This morning he was awarded the 2021 SOCAN/SiriusXM Young Songwriters Award for his smash hit “Hood Cry”.
The Worldstar Distribution released single “Juice” is available on all major streaming platforms.
