Starting 5 (Season 2)
Netflix has been on a role in recent years with sports docuseries like Quarterbacks, Receivers, Full Swing. and Sprint. In 2024, they premiered their NBA basketball docuseries Starting 5, following the on-court and off-court lives of Lebron James, Jimmy Butler, Domantas Sibonis, Jayson Tatum, and Anthony Edwards. In 2025, Netflix is returning with a new starting five—Jaylen Brown, Kevin Durant, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Tyrese Haliburton, and James Harden.
Even though we live in a social media generation, it’s not everyday that we get a behind the scenes look into the personal lives of some of the biggest basketball players in the world. This is a much watch for basketball and sports fans in 2025.
