The film industry descended on the Carib 5 Theatre in Kingston, Jamaica for the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love.
Some of Jamaica’s finest were in attendance last night for the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love. Hosted by Jamaican media personality and lecturer, Fae Ellington, at the Carib 5 Theatre in Kingston, Jamaica, the night featured a screening, live musical performances, and even some dominoes.
In attendance were the film’s stars, including Kingsley Ben-Adir, James Norton, and Alexx “A-Game” Gallimore, director Reinaldo Marcus Green, producers Robert Teitel, Jeremy Kleiner, Ziggy Marley, and Rita Marley, executive producer Orly Marley, Paramount Pictures President and CEO, Brian Robbins, with his wife Tracy Robbins, Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and the Most Honorable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica.
Starring Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley, Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley, James North as Chris Blackwell, Alexx “A-Game” Gallimore as Peter Tosh, Bob Marley: One Love celebrates the life, music and message of a man who rose from the countryside of Saint Ann Parish to inspire a revolution through unity while bringing Jamaican music and culture to the world.
