Camille Kiffin
Camille Kiffin is a Toronto-based, Jamaican-born multidisciplinary artist, who combines digital techniques with 3D, Photoshop, and collages. Her love for art began as a young girl. She was inspired by her tropical surroundings, painting coconut trees and sunsets.
A graduate of OCAD University, she has explored a variety of mediums include digital art, video, and animation. Her piece for “A Transit Through Time” explores the heart and the light within us all.
“The inspiration behind my piece is the heart and the light within us. In a way, it’s a love letter to myself, but also I’m hoping to inspire other people with it as well, going back through inspiration from my ancestors and remembering how they must have had that light inside of them. And today, we still have this light inside of us that keeps pushing us forward. No matter what we’re going through, that light is always there, and it will keep us going.” Camille Kiffin, interview with SHIFTER.
