Balenciaga x adidas pop-up store in Toronto

SHIFTER recently visited the new Balenciaga x adidas pop-up store at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto. Here’s a look inside.

In early November, Balenciaga and adidas released their new collection to much fanfare. The launch came with a new pop-up store at Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre, the first pop-up for the new collaboration in the world according to our kind sales associate.

Housed in black shipping containers donning the Balenciaga x adidas logo, the display includes everything from sneakers, t-shirts, and backpacks to basketballs, soccer balls and accessories.

Some of the standout items include a detachable parka, the hooded blouson, the trefoil signet ring, the oversized sweatshirt, and the large backpack. Colours for the collection include black, white, red, and blue.

The collection is a follow up to adidas’ successful Gucci collab released this Summer. The German sportswear maker has used a number of collaborations in recent years to increase the popularity of their brand. These include M&Ms, Bad Bunny, and IVY PARK to name a few.
