Jordan is searching for Penelope and Andi is interrogated. Kinda. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 13.
Andi taken into custody
At the police station, a fake and overdramatic Gary tells the police that Andi was the last person to talk to Penelope. Soon enough, Andi is seemingly brought in for questioning. It turns out the officer is the same one who searched her office while the FBI was investigating Gary for embezzlement. He asks Andi to testify against Gary or risk being investigated herself because of their deep ties.
Outside of the station, Gary and his hacker sidekick friend talk about their plan. Gary vows to get rid of “her” if she gets in the way, although we’re not sure who he’s talking about. When he pulls out of the parking lot, we find out Jordan was watching the whole thing.
At Gary’s office, Jordan runs into a former intern in front of the building. He tells her he’s interviewing at the company and gets her to give him details about working with Gary.
In the end, Jordan is talking to Andi on the phone when Gary gets into the car and gives him a stern warning about getting into his business.
Zac’s baby girl
At the Zatima house, Zac wants to hire an attorney to get his money back from Gary. He also wants to set up a trust for his kids, but he isn’t trying to take responsibility for Aaron’s child even though Fatima thinks he and Aaron need to talk about co-parenting.
At the office, Fatima tells Andi about the messy situation with Zac and Aaron both being fathers of the twins. In turn, Andi reveals the whole mess at the police station, including the FBI putting together a big case against Gary. Fatima is worried the police might use what she says against her.
Maurice vs. Carrie II
Meanwhile, Maurice and his coworker Carrie are still going at each other at the bank. Maurice warns her “Stand down ho!” The interactions between the two are a good touch. It’s nice to see Maurice kinda meeting his match battling a Karen. She threatens to report Maurice, but he keeps his cool. After their run-in, Maurice barges into Sabrina’s office to find her doing her fertility shots. After giving her a hand, he tells her about what just went down with Carrie.
Later, Sabrina shows up at Danni’s house, but Danni is finding it hard to not share Karen’s secret about the babies’ paternity. To avoid spilling the tea, Danni plays a game of charades so Sabrina can guess.
After Sabrina uncovers the truth, Tony shows up angry that her daughter brought home the handcuffs from her apartment after Danni told her to go home and ask him about them. He’s angry she wasn’t more responsible with his kids.
Clingy Aaron returns
At the salon, Pam is trying to convince Karen to give Trey a chance. That’s until Clingy Aaron shows up to check up on her. He’s back to his former way. But he’s also there to check up on his investment. It turns out Aaron is an investor in Pam’s hair product business. Karen doesn’t like him connecting with the people she’s connected to and thinks he’s just trying to find ways to be in her space. He also wants her to tell people, including Pam, after the paternity of the twins, but she isn’t exactly ready. When he learns that Zac only wants to take care of his child, Aaron decides he wants to talk to him.
Aaron finds Zac at the basketball court and promises to step up if Zac decides not to. Zac reminds Aaron that he already has kids of his own and tells him to stop trying to be Karen’s knight in shining armor.
Meanwhile, Trey shows up at the salon after hours to take Karen out. She turns him down because she’s pregnant, but he isn’t afraid of her belly.
When Zac gets home, he fills Fatima in on the conversation with Aaron and admits Fatima was right that he needed to talk to Aaron and take responsibility for both babies.
