Andi meets the FBI’s key witness, and Zac and Aaron make peace? Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 16.
Tonight’s episode of Tyler Perry’s Sistas wasn’t overly impressive, but there were some great TV moments with the introduction of an unexpected key witness in the FBI investigation into Gary, Zac and Aaron potentially squashing their beef, and a comedic moment between Maurice and Pam.
So let’s take a closer look. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 16.
Tony’s ex-wife returns
The episode opens with Tony’s ex-wife appearing in his office. When she shares that she’s been promoted to Major, her and Tony start acting like besties, leaving Danni to feel left out. The good vibes are short lived though. The ex isn’t exactly impressed that Danni has already met her kids.
After a night out, Danni and Tony return to her place. Things get awkward when Danni finds out his ex-wife is staying at Tony’s mom’s house with the kids. Danni gets mad when Tony appears to dismiss her issues with him and his ex being “buddy buddy”.
Andi and Fatima vs. Hayden
Fatima calls Andi to let her know that Hayden is losing it at the office. But Andi can’t exactly celebrate. She’s worried Ms. Marie’s case isn’t a slam dunk. After the call, Andi shows up to meet the FBI agent who is investigating Gary. They meet in an undisclosed location which has Andi a bit scared…until she meets the FBI’s key witness. But Andi isn’t sure she can keep this secret.
Later, Fatima and Hayden cross paths at the office where he boasts that he’ll have Ms. Marie eating out of the palm of his hand. Too bad he didn’t see her right behind him. That’s the least of her worries though. Marie wasn’t impressed with Hayden and Andi’s performance in court.
Later, Hayden shows up at Ms. Marie’s hotel room to do damage control. Ms. Marie suggests Hayden make it up to her in some indecent ways and Hayden is more than willing to oblige.
Meanwhile, Zatima interview nannies and finally find the right candidate.
Ethan makes his move
With Jordan leading in the poles, things are looking up. But the pressures surrounding Penelope’s disappearance are getting to him. He’s drinking to cope and his staffer Ethan looks to be up to something. Jordan wants to know why Ethan came to work for his campaign. Ethan says he appreciates his heart for the community. When Andi calls to check up on Jordan, Ethan slips something into his drink.
Planning Karen’s baby shower
It’s time to start planning Karen’s baby shower and Pam is first to show up at Sabrina’s house. Danni can’t make it because she’s getting her “nana” waxed and Andi forgot. Before the planning could get underway, Maurice and Pam are already like two peas in a pod. She asks him to be an ambassador for her company. But as soon as she leaves, Maurice tells Sabrina she hates Pam’s guts. Apparently, there’s only room for one extra person at Sabrina’s place. Later, at the salon, Trey gives Pam some business advice that could take her business to the next level. Something is clearly brewing between Pam and Trey.
Meanwhile, Rich shows up at Sabrina’s house and their horny ways continue from previous episodes. When Rich finds a baby shoe in the couch, he gets spooked. He wants to know whether she’s still taking her birth control. Sabrina isn’t having it and asks him to leave.
Trouble in Maurice’s paradise
When Maurice returns home from Sabrina’s place, he’s alarmed when his boyfriend cooked his oxtails and organized his closet. He doesn’t appreciate it and asks for some space.
Later, at the bar, Maurice vents about Grayson getting into his personal space. But really, he still has trauma and trust issues from dating Que.
Zac and Aaron make peace
When Zac runs into his arch nemesis Aaron at the gym, Zac wants to talk, but Aaron doesn’t want to talk. Zac extends an olive branch and asks to squash their beef before bringing up Aaron’s wife’s suicide. In the end, they’re cool and start bonding over the crazy situation with Karen. Zac shows a lot of growth from the last few episodes. Fatima for the win.
