Jordan is caught in a compromising position and Andi reveals a big secret. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 17.
Tonight’s episode of Tyler Perry’s Sistas saw a few characters experience relationship issues as their futures with their respective partners are called into question. We also see Gary get more petty than ever as he learns some news that could potentially take him down.
So let’s take a closer look. Here’s our recap of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 17.
Jordan gets caught lacking
After being drugged by Ethan, Jordan wakes up groggy. Andi comes in and finds him waking up and offers him medicine for his headache.
At Gary’s office, we find that Ethan took incriminating pictures of Jordan while he was passed out that could ruin his campaign. But it looks like Ethan might be regretting his actions.
When Ethan returns, Jordan asks Ethan what time he left the night before.
Hayden makes his move
When Fatima pulls into the parking lot at the law office, she sees Ms. Marie and Hayden walking in together. She’s worried he’s up to something, but he accuses her of wanting to have sex with him again. Well, those aren’t exactly the words he used, but we’ll keep it PG. Immediately, she calls Andi and warns her that Hayden is up to something.
When Andi arrives, she learns that Ms. Marie’s husband leaked her personal information to the public. But she’s still in the afterglow of her time with Hayden.
Later, at home, we find Fatima in mommy mode (or “bonus mom” mode according to Zac) reading Michael a book. She fills Zac in on the Hayden situation. Zac is willing to help sort things out his own way, but she’s good. He encourages her to make peace with Karen after he and Aaron made peace, but for her, the ball is in Karen’s court.
Meanwhile, Andi encourages Jordan to not drink his problems away. She tells him that she loves him which grosses Gary out. Yes, he’s eavesdropping after Ethan bugged Jordan’s apartment last episode. When Jordan prays for Penelope’s safety, Andi gives in and tells him that Penelope is alive and is cooperating with the FBI on an investigation into Gary.
The next day, Gary meets Karen at the law office parking lot to show her the pictures of Jordan is the company of prostitutes. Gary admits he had Jordan and Andi’s apartments bugged and knows about the FBI investigation. He also threatens to tell a violent cartel he’s dealing with that Jordan has pocketed their cash which is basically a death sentence. All he wants is for Andi to be his wife, and for her to end her and Penelope’s dealings with the FBI.
Sabrina and Rich take a break, kinda
At the bank, Maurice is telling Sabrina about the woes of sharing space with Grayson. As Maurice goes back to work, Rich comes in to talk with Sabrina about him asking whether she’s still taking birth control during last episode. She thinks he’s afraid that she’ll trap him. Sabrina suggests they put a hold on sex until after her fertility procedure, but it doesn’t look like Rich can handle that.
When Maurice arrives at home, it appears he has the house to himself. At first, he’s looking forward to some time alone, but soon misses not having Grayson there after realizing he’s “gone gone”.
Later, Sabrina calls Andi and fills her in on all the latest with Rich.
At the bar, Maurice is venting about Grayson dipping from his apartment. When Maurice sees Grayson talking to another man, who we find out is his coworker, he loses control. Grayson reminds Maurice that he wanted space.
Tony gives Danni an offer she can’t refuse
Tony pulls up to Danni’s kiosk at the airport to propose they have sex in the rain and to tell her that he, his ex wife, and the kids are having dinner together. Danni suggests that she come, but he tells her that Tiffany only wants it to be her, Tony, and the kids. But before she can get mad, he propositions her with a secret rendezvous at the airport.
At dinner with his ex-wife and kids, Tiffany is coming on a little strong. She’s getting a little touchy-feely and invites Tony to spend the night with her and the kids.
Later, at Danni’s place, Tony gives Danni the lowdown on dinner with his ex-wife and kids.
Zac checks up on Karen
Trey stops into the salon to check up on Pam and to ask how her business plan is going. He wants to see Pam win. She lets him know she’s going to follow his advice and give out samples of her product.
Zac comes in to check up on Karen and to tell her that he ran into Aaron and squashed their beef. With Zac and Aaron now on the same page, he asks whether she and Fatima can get on the same page. Unfortunately, that ship has sailed for Karen.
Later, we find out her insurance has lapsed at the salon and she has until the end of the week to sort it out. As she gets off the call, she spots Trey in an alleyway in the company of a mystery woman. Let’s hope Pam doesn’t get her heart broken.

This needs to be Gary’s last season. Seriously! We need to pivot from this storyline. Call Madam & end him on the show & @tylerperry can help him find a new role on something I don’t watch like NCSI or something. I’m tired. #SistasOnBET pic.twitter.com/fTefzywNsX

If Andi wasn’t so prissy, Fatima could’ve been had Gary killed and we wouldn’t be dealing with this nonsense. Everyone would be happy but nah Andi gotta always make life hard. #SistasOnBET
