Iman Shumpert returns with visuals for Drop Ya Glasses off his This Car Ain’t Stolen Deluxe. Here’s a closer look at the video.
After dropping his This Car Ain’t Stolen Deluxe last August, Iman Shumpert, known musically as Iman., has dropped a brand new music video for “Drop Ya Glasses” off the same project.
Sampling Eve and Gwen Stefani’s “Let Me Blow Your Mind”, the track was produced by AyeeJB, Vince Valholla, Giorgio Cesaroni and Canadian music producer HeySamyr, who Shumpert signed to his A Sinner’s Peace record label.
Directed by Khamen Lenz, the video shows Iman. working in a barbershop sweeping floors, interspersed with visual effects and shots of him sitting on a bike as he spits his bars. The video features a skit with HeySamyr making a cameo as he sits in the barbershop. Then as Iman. dozes off in the barbers chair, the video switches to a 3D animation as Iman. enters a Grand Theft Auto inspired video game world.
It’s been a busy few years for the NBA champion, who aside from launching his label and winning Dancing With The Star, also launched his Iman Among Men podcast with UNINTERRUPTED alongside his brother Ahrii.
