NF drops a new song HOPE ahead of the release of his upcoming album of the same name. He also dropped cinematic new visuals to go with it.
Michigan rapper NF has returned with a brand new single titled “HOPE”. On the track he tackles a number of topics, from faith and fatherhood to pain and success. We hear a version of NF who doesn’t want to play small or shrink back, as well as one who no longer wants to stand in his own way.
What’s my definition of success?
Creating something no one else could
Bein’ great enough to dream big
Grindin’ when you’re told to just quit
Givin’ more when you got nothin’ left
With strings, keys, tempo changes, and crescendos, the song evokes a lot of emotion and creates a sense of grandeur. This is matched by the epic and cinematic visuals which show NF on a wood raft in the middle of the ocean. We then see him in a mansion as he confronts different versions of himself, before he is finally transported to a mountain top.
HOPE is the lead single and title track off the multi-platinum rapper’s soon-to-be released fifth studio album. HOPE will be a 13-track album with features from singer/songwriter Julia Michaels and rapper Cordae.
Despite still flying under the radar among some hip-hop fans, NF boasts 7.86M+ Monthly Spotify Followers (surpassing artists like Lizzo, Machine Gun Kelly, and Jack Harlow) and reached #63 on 2022’s Top 100 US Streaming Artists, entering above Dua Lipa, DaBaby, and Roddy Ricch, and #117 on Spotify’s All Time Most Streamed Artists Globally.
