It’s an all Ottawa collab as Pnny’ teams up with Freddy Printz and producer CEO Sweezy for his new single “iywm'” (If You Was Me).
Among some who have their ear to Ottawa’s underground hip-hop scene, Pnny’ is one of the names mentioned as one of the more promising up and coming acts.
He recently dropped a new single titled “iywm'” (If You Was Me) featuring fellow Ottawa artist Freddy Printz which got our attention at SHIFTER. The single is a follow up to Pnny’s late 2022 release “Marni”.
Meanwhile Printz has built a reputation for himself with his timeless delivery and bars which transport listeners back to the Golden Era of hip-hop. Case in point, his track “Figure of Speech” off his 2022 EP The Candidate which has over 102K streams on Spotify to date.
Rounding out the all Ottawa offering is hip-hop producer CEO Sweezy who has worked with a growing list of Canadian artists including Toronto’s 2Kz and Killa. CEO Sweeny composed a laid back beat boasting majestic strings and hard drums.
Known for witty punchlines littered with NBA and WWE references, Pnny’ addresses the naysayers who can’t walk in his shoes, while Printz boasts about their dominance as artists.
