Twelve of Ottawa’s hottest artists came together and dropped the track “All Capital Anthem” to honor the city. The twelve artists coming together include; OTG Stiffy, DaBoiLoc, AGS Smooth, Dip Black on the first verse. Frank Blak, Baëbe Ruth, Nino, and KG Jay hopped on the second verse before passing the baton to Mazyn, Gabona, Snoozy and Rhi Da Baddie for the grand finale. On top of his powerful delivery and captivating energy, Rapper KG Jay also contributed as the producer of the track.
Mazyn, featured on the second verse also explained what this collaboration means to him, “To be on a track that showcases and represents Ottawa means a lot to me. Coming (to Ottawa) in 2015 as an international student, this was the city where I got to discover my true self as a person first before even becoming an artist, so when AllCAPYOW reached out to me to get on the track I did not hesitate at all. I knew this was a special moment for the city and my career as an artist.”
The video premiered on ALLCAPYOW’s YouTube page, an entertainment outlet based in Ottawa which focuses on the growth of the urban music & entertainment scene in the city. ALLCAPYOW’s goal is to help Ottawa “come up” as a city, “I always knew that in order for us to do that, we have to work as a unit,” says executive producer J Creole.
J Creole is a recording artist and record producer who has worked with labels such as MMG, Universal, Poe Boy Ent, Mosley and Interscope. On top of being the executive producer on the track, J Creole also performs the chorus of the All Capital Anthem after suggesting the concept to ALLCAPYOW 2 years ago.
