“People On The Move” takes a look at people moving on to new and exciting roles in our community and culture. Today, we look at Marlon Palmer, Alicia “Ace” West, Dr. Jay and Vanessa James who assume new roles at Toronto radio station FLOW 98.7.
The shake up in Black radio in Toronto continues with the announcement that Marlon Palmer and Alicia “Ace” West, co-hosts of the Extra Gravy podcast, will be making their debut as the new morning show hosts at FLOW 98.7 starting January 15th. The duo, billed as “Ace and Marlon”, replaces outgoing hosts Red and Ritz.
The move comes after the launch of the station’s new tagline “Where Black music lives”, replacing “Toronto’s Hip-Hop and R&B”.
