Timex Group has released a new adidas Originals Timepiece collection geared towards Young Creatives, their lifestyle and unique self-expression.
Timex Group recently released their new adidas Originals Timepiece collection. Designed, manufactured and distributed by long time watchmaker, the new collection also marked the debut of adidas’ TIME FOR ME campaign.
For Timex Group, the collection is about design meeting functionality.
“The new collection is where design exploration and watch functionality converge,” said Giorgio Galli, Chief Executive Creative Director of Timex Group. “This collection tells a story of purpose and thought and lends itself to self-expression and self-awareness.
The collection includes four styles.
The Reeewind Time is influenced by musical expressiveness of Young Creatives. The very minimalist Game On The Go was inspired by the ‘everyday’ home of Young Creatives, from the pitch to the streets. The Sustainably Strapped evokes feelings of purity, expressed through the sustainable materials that it is made up of, its bio-based resin strap, recycled ocean plastic case and solar powered features. Finally, there’s the Concrete Junglists for the Young Creative whose natural habitat is the concrete jungle.
All of the designs blend Timex Group’s reputation for timeless design and watchmaking with adidas’ reputation as a leader in street culture and sport to give Young Creatives an accessory that will compliment their lifestyle and unique self-expression.
“Time For Me creates a series of snapshots that capture the dynamic, impromptu and honest lives of the Young Creative”, Timex Group said in an official statement. “A collective who champions unique personality and self-expression to make this their time and seize the day. Taking cues from the Young Creatives refreshed outlook, Time For Me shows how the watch adds new creative potential and possibilities to further express their style and ultimately become another essential accessory to not only their outfit but the way they live their life.”
