Canada Goose recently dropped their new Fall/Winter collection and to say we’re impressed is an understatement. The collection features a number of cool features and materials, including backpack straps allowing certain jacket to pack within itself, snorkel hoods that eliminate the need for a hood, metallics, performance satin, word marks, a marble-like glacial print, and more. The collection also features brand new toques, headbands, hoodies and knitwear as Canada Goose evolves into a full lifestyle brand.
The company even announced they’d be ending their purchase of fur by the end of 2021 and removing fur from their product line completely next year.
So without further adieu, here are five standout pieces from the Canada Goose Fall Winter 2021 collection.
Puffer Jackets
This has to be the dopest piece in the Canada Goose Fall Winter collection. Made from Canada Goose’s Recycled Feather-Light-Ripstop fabric, it comes in Black and Atlantic Navy, but the Gold version is fire and a great way to make a statement (especially with a nice pair of denim). What also makes this jacket unique is that it’s packable within itself so it’s great for someone who is always on the go.
If you like this piece, you can also check out the more lightweight Crofton Down Hoody that also packs within itself and can be worn as a backpack.
Ladies, if you love the Men’s Crofton Puffer, check out its female counterpart, the Cypress Puffer. Similar to the Crofton Puffer, this jacket is made with Recycled Feather-Light-Ripstop fabric and easily packs away if the temperature changes and you need somewhere to store it. It comes in Black, Red and Silverbirch, seen in the picture above, and has zippers on the sides for extra mobility and ventilation.
Workmark Sweaters
Canada Goose is in the process of transitioning from just an outerwear company to a full lifestyle brand, and the Welland Sweater is evidence of that. It’s made of Italian Merino wool and features a Canada Goose wordmark down the sleeve. Super dope.
For the ladies, they have the Saturna Crewneck Wordmark sweater featuring articulated cuffs. Similar to the men’s Welland Sweater, it’s also made of Merino Wool, a natural performance fiber with thermoregulating properties, and features the Canada Goose workmark down the sleeve.
Everest Vest Pastels
What’s not to like about this vest? The lines are crazy and it looks like it tapers out from the body just a bit to give you some room to move. You can wear it with a knit or fleece underneath, as seen in the picture above, and some denim. It comes in six colours, but the Moonstone Grey, North Star White, and Meltwater (a kind of pastel turquoise colour) standout. The vest also features white trim and a D-ring you can use to attach your gloves and other accessories.
Byward Parka Pastels
The Byward Parka is casual yet elegant. Canada Goose calls it “heavyweight warmth, in a lightweight construction”. The jacket is features a lot of storage and is made of ultra-soft EnduraLuxe fabric making it light and durable. You can also remove the hood to change up the look of the jacket. The colours are airy and soft and make you want to take a nap whenever you look at them, especially this Meltwater blue.
HyBridge Knits
These HyBridge knits are the epitome of “dope”. They look elegant, but can be dressed down and given that hip-hop flavour with some denim and the right pair of sneakers.
Both the Men’s HyBridge Knit Jacket and the Women’s HyBridge Quilted Knit Hoody are made of Merino wool, feature down-filled panels for extra warmth, and are very breathable. The only difference is the women’s knit features diamond quilting on the front and a hood. Add some gold hoop earrings, jeans and an up-do, ladies, and you’re set.
Women’s Dore Hoody
This hoody is so timeless and so hip-hop to me. This is the kind of jacket that Q-Tip’s love interest in the “Electric Relaxation” music video would wear. That means it exudes simplicity. It also features light fabric and reflective details to keep you safe.
Arctic Disc Toque Twist Pastels
No winter outfit is complete without a nice toque. As with other pieces in the Canada Goose Fall Winter 2021 collection, the Arctic Disc Toques are made of Merino Wool and features that calming pastel colours. There’s also a folded cuff for extra protection while braving our Canadian winters.
