Danni rejects Preston’s proposal and Sabrina and Calvin get even closer. Here’s our Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 5 Episode 15 recap.
The Proposal
“What the hell…Get up.” That’s how tonight’s episode of Sister started. Danni has a hard time accepting the proposal and ring because she thinks it’s is for another woman, but according to Preston says it’s her size (meaning he got it for her).
He continues: “Danni, I’m willing to do anything for you.”
To which she replies: “Thank you, but no…I’m sorry.”
And just like that, Preston is rejected.
Danni then goes to the bathroom and calls Sabrina to tell her about the proposal. Sabrina encourages her to talk to Preston.
Danni tries to sneak out past Preston to avoid the awkwardness of his proposal. He lets her know he’ll be going back home which may mean a meeting between Que and Preston at the airport.
Speaking of Que, he’s back to his slimy ways making up some bogus story of his ankle monitor and getting arrested for protecting his mom. He’s trying to pour on the charm and hang out with Danni again, and it looks like it’s going to work.
Que is low hanging fruit. He smokes; she smokes. He drinks; she drinks. They have similar humour. They have enough in common that things would be easy with Que, whereas her and Preston are very different and it would take a lot of work. Unfortunately, it looks like Danni may be going down the path of dating a toxic and douchy man again and Preston will have to come to the rescue again.
Calvin to the rescue
It turns out Sabrina is occupied because Calvin is at her apartment, dropping deuces and stinking up the place. She’s scared and asks him to stay and hold her. She’s the complete opposite of Danni as she lets her guard down. She confides in him that her mom is sick and she’s her sole supporter (something she hasn’t even told the girls).
After they established his character as being soft and pushed around by Que, it’s nice to see him as strong and a rock for Sabrina in a time when she needs it.

Later, Sabrina and Calvin call a saucy and over the top Maurice to reassure him that Andi is trying to get him out.

Andi and Robin scratch each other’s backs
Robin calls to get a “phone number” from Andi to help fight off Gary and Hayden’s hostile takeover of his company (and for giving him information he needed). She in turn asks him for help with Maurice.
Gary enters having eavesdropped on her conversation. He asks who she was talking to, but she dodged it. Nevertheless, Gary is onto her. He calls Hayden to let him know he thinks Andi gave Robin information and that he might have a way out, but Hayden has his hands full with Tamara, aka “the plant”.
Zac and Karen meet
In the latest Zatima news, Zac is going to give Karen some legal papers. Much to Zac’s surprise, Fatima trusts him to go alone. Zac is excited to see her wearing her engagement ring.
Zac goes to salon where Karen signs the papers without any legal advice, much to Zac’s disapproval. This is a different version of Karen. She’s calm, cordial, and cool. She even congratulations Zac on things with Fatima. I mean, at this point we may have to ask whether Karen is bipolar. The two of them actually look like they can be friends.
As he’s leaving, she calls him back for a hug. It’s a nice moment between them two. Unfortunately, a photo of their embrace gets back to Fatima at the office and it looks like they’re kissing. From the looks of it, next episode is going to be World War III so get your popcorn ready.
